The audience is a mix of passionate motor racing enthusiasts and the motor racing industry, providing lots of opportunities for advertisers, which include car manufacturers, lifestyle brands, Formula 1 partners and sponsors.
Autosport.com content is extremely desirable; it is one of only a few examples of successful freemium models, it’s paywall the envy of the publishing world.
Autosport is looking for a new talent to fill the role of Digital Agency Sales Rep, maximising revenues from an existing client base as well as generating new business.
You will be expected to create a challenging work environment for all fellow team members.
Day-to-day activities include selling display advertising, sponsorships, content and specials across the various Autosport properties including the website, magazine, app and Awards.
The successful candidate will be a creative and tenacious individual with a go-get attitude and a desire to work within a fast and demanding environment. The role will require high levels of sales activity and an ideas-led approach incorporating creative thinking. This will provide an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right candidate with the right skills set.
The Autosport team attend many events, there is a level of travel and weekend work you will be expected to attend. This will vary from race events nationally and internationally, conferences and exhibitions as well as lunches, dinners and evening engagements where the business requires it.
- Advertising sales experience is essential
- Ability to sell to West End Agencies, existing contacts are beneficial
- Ability to sell across both digital and print platforms
- Experience in face to face sales and presenting to clients, presentation writing is key
- Proven track record in working to targets
- Proactive attitude with a proven ability to work to a high standard/attention to detail, with a high degree of self-motivation as well as being a team player
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
