We’re looking for a Content Filmmaker to join a pioneering technology business in North Wiltshire. Sat within the large multifunctional creative and marketing agency for the business; you’ll work with photographers, producers, copywriters, creative directors and content specialists to create inspiring video content for a global audience. This role is commutable from Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Cheltenham and the M4 corridor.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the internal marketing and creative agency you’ll have access to an in-house film studio as you shoot and edit video content that’ll be to a standard that is ready for TV. The purpose of this role will be to deliver “how to” and explainer videos and video content that’ll support multi-channel campaigns. It’ll be your responsibility to make work that engages, informs and tells a brilliant story around an innovative suite of products and pioneering business.
Your video work will form a vital part of social and advertising campaigns and be an invaluable resource for customers and internal stakeholders alike. It’ll be imperative that your work is informed through data and audience insight in order to create shareable content that matches the brands values.

What experience you’ll need

First of all we need someone who is comfortable with both shooting and editing video as you’ll be working with a Producer on individual projects. Ideally you’ll have some photography skills too. Working for a well-known and well established name requires a real understanding in the importance of brand – so we need someone who has experience working in a similar brand-led video role in the past. Creating effective video content for this brand will require you to have a real passion for technology in order to wrap your head around the suite of products they produce. You’ll also need some real commercial nouse as you’ll be thinking about how video content can integrate with a bunch of cross-channel digital campaigns. With regards to tools you’ll need to be an expert in the standard video editing software, ideally you’ll also know your way around the relevant programs in the Adobe CC.

It’s important to note that entrepreneurial spirits do well here; we want thinkers and people that will challenge themselves and those around them to continually push things forward. We’ll need creative ideas but they need to be commercial and very well considered, we’ll need to see evidence of this in the showreel.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

In return for your talents you’ll get some fantastic benefits including 27 days holiday + bank holidays, a 6% company profit share scheme, staff discount on all products, gym membership and many more. Outside of this you’ll get the chance to work for one of the UK’s best success stories. You’ll work on some fantastic projects and your progression will only be limited by your desire to succeed, you may come in as a Content Filmmaker but where you end up is up to you.
