The Company

My client is a rapidly expanding ecommerce business in the creative industry. They are a dynamic and agile company with a fun outlook and approach to work. The Role

As the Digital Marketing Manager you will live and breathe how we get the most out of our shop - the website. Driving traffic across a variety of digital channels and improving conversion will be key. This role is one of two managers in the marketing team who report directly into the Marketing & Product Director.
Taking ownership of a budget and managing 3rd party agency partners and getting the most out of both will be second nature. It is imperative this person is very data driven and is able to consume stats and evaluate performance and make commercial decisions based on the observations.
Three team members of staff; paid search, CRM and content/social specialists will help you bring your plans to life. Directing them, helping them evaluate success of all paid search, email, direct mail and social will be day to day activities. Currently in place is display, remarketing and affiliate marketing supported by an external media buying partners, which will require your direction.
To sum up you will play a vital role in finding and keeping profitable new customers and ensuring purchases are completed and conversion rates increase, to successfully grow the business.

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Be a key member of the Marketing department and manage internal team member
  • Develop team members to increase their skill level
  • Manage media channel spend
  • Analyse return on advertising spend
  • Work with agency to implement effective display activities
  • Improve standard of performance from affiliate partners
  • Make recommendations on which partners to support
  • To identify organic search opportunities to grow this channel

  • Experience of Google tools; Adwords, Webmaster, Analytics, Double Click
  • High attention to detail for ROI analysis on budget
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, ability to work independently
  • Media agency management experience
  • Degree level education
