This marketing communications agency, has created a unique point of difference in the marketplace and works with a number of large B2B tech companies. They have a reputation for being a trusted, reliable and forward thinking agency.

The role

To manage the day-to-day client relationships with a number of clients, specifically IBM and Lenovo

To be the first point of contact for clients

To manage project estimates, budgets, draft and enforce delivery schedules and produce support documentation.

Ensure the profitable development of client business.

Skills and experience

  • Ability to work across a number of platforms including Print, Digital, Online, Social and Video
  • To uphold and develop existing client relationships and cement new relationships where possible
  • To be the first point of contact for clients and ensuring their needs are catered for
  • Identifying new project opportunities with clients
  • Advise clients of creative and technical processes
  • Source quotes and samples from suppliers
  • Creating cost estimates and project timelines
  • Monthly invoicing and job bag management
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to budget, deadline and brief
  • Ability to confidently brief copywriters, digital programmers, designers, printers, journalists and other third party suppliers
  • To provide ‘second pair of eyes’ for proofing purposes and ensure that all own projects are counter proofed by another member of the team, prior to supply to client/printer
  • To ensure that the Managing Director / Creative Director is informed about all important project milestones
  • To work with other team members to ensure optimal distribution of workloads
  • To manage own projects with a high degree of professionalism, keeping accurate records, status sheets and report to the Managing Director / Creative Director regularly on status

Other Duties:

  • Manage the agency social content output across Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google+
  • To answer phones when required
  • To support fellow company employees
  • To draft contact/status reports as necessary and any other support documentation
  • To provide additional resource for research tasks and any other one-off tasks

Product and Market knowledge required:   

An understanding and appreciation of how the channel marketing model works for IT companies

In general IT – hardware and software marketing experience

Social media as a lead generation and engagement environment

Experience working client side, or working with the IT sector.

Must have minimum 5 years experience working in a marketing role, ideally a combination of agency and client side roles.

Must have minimum of 5 years channel marketing experience

Must have minimum of 3 years event marketing experience

A university level qualification at Distinction or 1st level in Marketing
