Account Director - Integrated B2B Agency

Like many specialist agencies out there which all say they are different from the next, it is very hard to find their true differentiators and to be honest when it comes to general output it’s a difficult one.
There isn’t a marketing agency out there that would openly say that they aren’t unique in some way but after walking through the corridors of over a 1000 different agencies over the years I can tell you this… there are three core ingredients that are important when considering a move. People. Skills. Experience. It’s this that gives each agency its personality, its drive and ultimately its ability.
And when it comes to choosing which job to go for we always start with people….
The people we work with are like our work husbands and wives. We spend more time with our colleagues that we do with our friends and family. So its important to ensure that where ever you go, whether the working environment is large or small, that you are surrounded by like-minded individuals.
Using this as a starting point, with the above firmly in mind I can tell you that our client is a mid-sized integrated B2B comms agency that specializes in the IT/Tech sector and currently work with all the usual well-known brands that you’d want to be associated with and have a long list of awards tucked under their belt – this is the usual intro paragraph you’d expect to read and its true.
However for us what makes this agency so dam great is the people. They aren’t box shifters or “YES” people! Not to be difficult but they all challenge the status quo and somehow the agency has that true balance between creative and strategy. And when you hear the name of the agency then you will understand what we mean.
I’m not going to bore you with the day to day in’s and outs of what a Client Director / Account Director does as to be honest you already know. You’ve done it before and don’t need to be told twice.
What is different about this particular role as Client Director / Account Director is the weight on strategy that is required. As we are looking for a Client Director / Account Director who is happy to work alongside the strategic team but can also advise clients on their marketing strategy as well as develop the team around you.
You know how to create and run projects and campaigns but can you really take charge of your team, develop and support them as well as think on your feet? All this whilst having the gravitas and engaging personality that clients will respect?

In return for your skills and experience as a Client Director / Account Director our client offers a generous package consisting of a basic salary ranging between £50-60k plus benefits. (Also and within reason for the exceptional there is some room for movement on this salary banding but please don't make this your priority when applying).
