This is a cracking opportunity for a Business Development Manager role in the truest sense of the word. We’re not hunting for a phone basher, we’re seeking a digital marketing specialist who’d love to join one of Bristol’s best regarded digital agencies where you’d lead and manage business developments, lead generation and the introduction of prospects into the agency.

What you’ll be doing
Working closely with the senior management team you’ll have the backing of hugely respected, long established and success full service digital agency. In the role of Business Development Manager you’ll be involved in everything from fielding initial inbound opportunities, qualifying opportunities, and initiating and managing outbound new business campaigns, events, to managing relationships with intermediaries and partners as well as delivering credentials presentations, RFIs and initial tender responses.

You’ll be surrounded by a team of experts, across UX, planning, strategy, creative, tech and media, each contributing to new business success and supporting you in your quest to deliver the goods.

What experience you’ll need
In a perfect world you’ll be already be leading the business development activity with a digital marketing agency, however you may also be an client services type who enjoys taking a lead role in pitch management, either way you’ll be a marketer who is tenacious, resilient, unwaveringly positive, as well as naturally curious and interested all things marketing, digital, brand and technology.

You get excited by commerce, businesses, digital marketing and brands. You can sniff out and discern tyre kickers from genuine opportunities and understand the value of establishing and nurturing trusted relationships.

You’re perceptive, a great listener and able to empathise with prospective clients and the internal team.

What you’ll get in return for your talents
Salary is based on experience, we’re expecting it to sit somewhere between £35k - £40k basic, possibly more for the right person, a bonus scheme, pension, brilliant working environments in a team where you’ll be made to feel at home from day one.
