A leading provider of insurance solutions to pet owners, vets and breeders has opened up a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic Direct Marketing Executive withi their Buckinghamshire office. The successful candidate will be required to attend a number of events within the UK, effectively representing the business and promoting the business to a wider audience of animal lovers and professional breeders at shows, functions and seminars nationally.
You will be a technically focused marketing executive, with a flair for enabling sales and improving marketing capabilties. The role and business are heavily data focused, so a candidate with a previous career focus or specialism in data driven CRM or email marketing strategy as part of the wider marketing mix will be ideal.
The organisation is seeking a solutions-driven marketing executive to solve the marketing business "pains" alongside the Head of Direct Marketing.
Responsibilities will include:
-Building and managing email marketing campaigns within Dotmailer.
-Coordinating marketing projects and activities within the wider team.
-Supporting the in-house sales and marketing teams by producing interesting and engaging content across various collaterals.
-Supporting the external sales team by providing quality sales collateral, information and activity reports.
-Creating, tracking and improving online activities and marketing campaigns.
-Assisting in artwork production, sourcing images from third parties and checking copy.
-Ensuring all marketing material is produced in line with compliance, technical and proofreading processes.
-Reporting on marketing campaign performance and identifying areas for improvement.
-Upholding a general knowledge of key marketing distribution channels and and understanding of competitor activity within those channels.
-Coordinating the design and delivery of new marketing initiatives.
-Liaising with external designers, producers and suppliers.
-To ensure marketing literature is produced to specifciation to deadline and budget.
-Writing and distributing content for press relaeases and other marketing material.
-Building and maintaining an up to date client mailing database
-Understanding and adhering to marketing briefs.
-Participating in well thought-out and effective social media campaigns.
-Producing and broadcasting email communications to internal and external customers.
-Organising and attending events and exhibitions
-Achieving effective communication performance within key marketing channels
-Liasing with affinity partners to optimise product exposure
-Must have experience of Dotmailer, or a similar email service provider
-Experience of writing copy and producing direct marketing campaigns - both digital and traditional.
-Excellent command of written English and able to produce quality written copy
-Numerically competent and confident in using Excel spreadsheets
-Able to effectively organise and prioritise workload
-Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven role, without compromising on attention to detail or accuracy.
-Excellent team working and relationship building skills - a great communicator
-Willing and able to attend out of hours shows and events as required.
