Savvy Media are currently recruiting for an ambitious and high-achieving conference producer to join our young, dynamic, award-winning international B2B media client. Based in the heart of the city, our client is already a leading brand and they are now looking to expand! With fantastic offices in Central London, it really is the ideal place to go if you have already gained a firm understanding of the media industry, but now want to push on with your career by moving to a big name company!

Our client are willing to look at a slight variety of verticals that you have strategized and processed in previously, but a finance background would be ideal. What they really need is a go-getter who is excited and motivated by advertising, and lives and breathes media! If you’re an entrepreneurial spirit, you’ll love the chance you have in this role to put together bespoke events.

Skills that would be attractive and relevant for this position are below:

-         Minimum 3 years conference production experience

-         Developing and delivering exciting portfolios for conferences

-         Researching and assimilating content to develop attractive and audience-led programmes

-         Producing thrilling written material, from programmes to web copy and marketing emails

-         Managing and recruiting speakers and industry contacts at all levels of seniority

-         Successfully identifying and launching new events

Desirables would be

-         An understanding of / interest in insurance, risk, pensions or employee benefits.

Key responsibilities

-         Production of all conferences: research, programme development, speaker acquisition

-         Planning and managing the conference production schedule

-         Continuous improvement of conference processes

-         Writing all website copy and sponsorship collateral

-         Briefing commercial and marketing teams

-         Acting as content lead for all conferences, internally and externally

-         Managing and reporting on a database of competitor events across all brands

-         Managing freelancers and junior team members as required
