Are you a Fashion Editor looking to join an incredible high-end fashion business? This fast-growing brand needs a creative and talented copywriter to join the Editorial team and lead on branded content space.

With this fantastic opportunity, you will be based in their chic Central London office and reporting directly to their Editorial Director. This is an amazing opportunity to work for a large luxury fashion company and have significant input on some exciting branding initiatives and campaigns. You will need to uphold the brand’s tone of voice, grasp their style and advise the team on how to exceed KPI’s.  

As the Fashion Editor your key responsibilities are to:
  • Create and organise the Editorial Calendar on a seasonal basis
  • Report internally on fashion and editorial trends
  • Oversee and ensure all content is optimized for search
  • Stay on top of social sharing content and contribute to social strategy
  • Be involved with the conception, research and production for editorial pieces
  • Produce brilliant content for advertising campaigns
  • Source imagery alongside the Picture Editor
  • Keep an eye on competitors editorial pieces and keep the brand ahead of the rest 
  • Network at industry events, be the face of the brand and raise their profile
  • Organise and manage interviews and collaborations when necessary

To be the successful Fashion Editor, you will:
  • Be degree educated to a 2.1 standard in a relevant subject
  • 3+ years’ experience in an Editorial/Fashion Publishing role (preferably online)
  • Have a very strong understanding of SEO and editorial best practice
  • A real eye for detail with copyediting skills
  • Have knowledge of social media best practices
  • Have proven track record of initiating creative campaign ideas and successful brainstorming
  • Be a personal blogger and enjoy community management outside of work
  • Have a huge passion and endless enthusiasm for fashion trends and brands.
