Head of PR & Marketing
My client is an inventive customer experience design agency for brands that want to excel in retail. They are looking for a Head of PR & Marketing. The Head of PR & Marketing will take its new strategic proposition to market and lead and develop the Household marketing programme in line with company objectives.
The purpose of this role is to be ultimately responsible for raising profile and reputation building for the agency and to develop targeted communications that drive new business. This will be through creation of PR and content strategy, press relations, creating innovative collateral to take to market, capturing our stories and projects and developing contacts and networks through participating in events as well as running in-house agency regular hot topic events.
The agency is designing for a retail world, where customer behaviour is changing and online and offline strategies are constantly evolving. As this is happening we are looking for someone that is aware of cultural shifts, ahead of the game, actively interested in market forces and changes.
It is imperative this person is highly strategic and imaginative who produces developing compelling written communications for their marketing channels. They are looking for someone with an inquiring mind, who is able to provide statistical/quantitative initiatives.
The role is hands-on, will report into the Head of Business Development and will form part of the ACT team, which consists of Experience Strategy Director, Head of Client Services and Managing Director.
What you need;
- Most likely to have experience from within a similar type of agency or design firm within a PR & Marketing role.
- Have an excellent understanding of the changing business environment
- Have a strong track record of PR & marketing brand and design consulting services
- Strong contacts within the marketing trade press
- Experience of working on a global scale
- Highly strategic approach
