Creative Solutions manager required to join major publisher in heart of London. This creative sales role would suit someone with a wealth of consumer facing cross-platform solutions looking to take their career to the next level. The successful applicant will be tasked with selling an impressive portfolio of titles with an unrivalled penetration across the UK market.

The creative solutions team sits within the wider sales team focused on devising innovative cross platform ideas and partnerships, across their full range of platforms and products, by both proactively producing bespoke solutions for key clients as well as responding to briefs

THE ROLE:

Working across Mindshare, MEC & M6 to generate Creative Solutions and cross-platform partnership revenue across west-end agencies. You will be tasked with extracting briefs from the planning community through rigorous and positive representation, and by developing proactive opportunities rooted in sound insight.

  • Develop creative ideas proactively that play to our brand strengths and audience motivations, and deliver these to key clients
  • Position their brands and platforms to the creative departments within media agencies, ensuring they are up to date with all developments, news and opportunities
  • Deliver and extract insights across media platforms and client categories
  • Win new business and enhance share of existing business.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Demonstrable track record of producing complex, high ticket innovative ideas and cross platform partnerships/creative solutions that make money and deliver tangible results for clients.
  • Proven experience of winning new business and enhancing share of existing business.
  • Experience of working in at least one other media channel outside of print/print online and/or experience of working in a strategy or planning role within a media agency.
  • Must be conversant with all rival media channels and be able to formulate compelling channel arguments.
  • Connected. Must have established, top end senior contacts within media agency networks. Contacts up to and beyond Business Director level with the ability to leverage those contacts to generate incremental revenue.
  • Gravitas. Must be credible and respected within the industry. Able to engage and influence at the highest levels of the UK's largest media agencies.
  • A storyteller. Experienced, polished presenter.
  • Fully conversant with all industry research tools: NRS, TGI, Mintel etc.
