Reader’s Digest seeks an innovative and energetic Head of Digital Advertising Sales with proven experience of generating digital revenues.

In the UK 80% of wealth and assets are held by the over 50’s - yet 95% of advertising revenue has traditionally been aimed at the under 35’s. The opportunities to change these figures are tremendous – and this is your challenge.

Increasingly, all ages shop, browse and communicate online. The key differences between age groups are the different ways in which older and younger consumers interact with the media that they use.

Reader’s Digest is a Trusted Brand with a reputation developed over many decades.

Responsibilities :

  • You will lead the way in aggressively growing the Reader’s Digest online offerings, which are currently in their infancy.  
  • You will personally generate new sales as well as leading a small, dynamic and resourceful team of two other sales people.   
  • You will introduce new revenue lines as well as growing those already in place.  
  • You will explore innovative ways to increase both sales and online traffic

Skills and Experience

  • A proven track record in digital advertising sales
  • Experience of magazine page sales
  • Ability to lead and motivate your sales team
  • An organised team player, with excellent communication skills
  • An innovative approach to revenue generation and database growth
