Our client is a well established advertising agency based in Manchester. With one of the strongest creative, digital and client services teams in the region, they regularly win awards and have a superb client roster - truly a great place to work. Due to continued growth, the agency is looking for a Communications Planner to join their team. We don't see many of these roles but in a world where the choice of communication channels are increasingly complex and where engaging with consumers presents multiple challenges, this agency is creating the Communications Planner role to ensure that across all client activity and campaign delivery, is cohesive, innovative and that all channels are considered to ensure communication is made with consumers throughout the whole customer journey. To be considered for this role we're looking for someone with a pedigree agency background and who has worked in a collaborative role with insight, client services, creatives and all other teams and who can demonstrate that they are strongly ideas driven, used to working across the entire marketing mix, someone who inspires internal teams and who can optimise channels to the overall strategy. It's likely that you will come from a media or integrated agency background in a similar role. You'll definitely have digital fluency within your box of skills and you'll be experienced in integrated digital marketing with 'old' media too. You should have a passion for culture, trends and motivation in consumer behaviour and understand the dynamics of each and every channel - how elements perform alone and together.
