Brand Planner – Occasions

As Occasions Brand Planner, you’ll play a crucial co-pilot role in helping the Occasions segment marketing team achieve their growth ambition by leveraging consumer, shopper and market insights on key strategic and innovation projects.  Reporting to our Lead Segment Planner, you’ll provide thought leadership and facilitate key decision- making in the Occasions segment based on consumer and shopper insights, analytics and strategic thinking.  Deciding on the best methodologies to create insights, you’ll provide input to the Occasions battlefield strategy and take responsibility for key strategic research and planning projects.  Other key deliverables as Brand Planner include:

  • co-piloting brand innovation projects through to market and validation
  • accountability for the Christmas and Easter sell-in decks
  • taking a risk management and growth approach to decide on investing in research for Occasions businesses
  • optimising the usage of continuous data sources and leveraging local insights.

Preferably educated to degree level in a marketing or business-related discipline, you’ll have a proven track record in both qualitative and quantitative market research, together with the ability to use data management and analytical tools. Strong on analysis and able to synthesize disparate pieces of information, both numerical and verbal, in an actionable and objective way to create consumer insights, you’re also strategically agile with real customer focus.  Your other strengths as Brand Planner include:
