This thriving multi-channel brand are looking to bolster their insights team as a part of a wider eCommerce division. The Digital Marketing Analyst will use testing and analysis to provide insight into the performance of all digital platforms and key marketing channels. With a site of this scale you’ll be at the core of key business decisions to help drive growth online.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting into the Marketing Insights Manager, you’ll use analytical tools (primarily Google Analytics here) to analyse data on digital acquisition performance (SEO, PPC etc.), conversion rate optimisation (CRO), customer behaviour and competitor information. From your previous role you should have a strong understanding of the best way to showcase this data and report to other key stakeholders in the team. This in turn will allow them to make effective decisions on merchandising, trading, digital marketing and user experience, all key factors to drive more traffic and boost conversions. Being a multichannel business it’ll be important to see how this fits into the bigger picture with offline channels as well.

What experience you’ll need

To come in and hit the ground running you will already be a Digital Analyst as part of an online business, eCommerce or otherwise. You’ll be at ease with large data sets and competent at pulling relevant information to pass on effective insights to the team. You should have an excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO and Excel, and be comfortable upskilling on new tools. Above all, you’ll have a huge passion for this area which will excite the team and add to the fantastic culture in the head office.

Salary here is up to £35k depending upon experience, with additional benefits including pension and life assurance. It’s worth noting that this is a relatively new role for the team, so you’ll be seen as a valuable asset and an in-house expert.
