Investor Relations and Communications Assistant

A highly regarded FTSE 100 company based in West London are looking for an Investor Relations and Communications Assistant to join their vibrant and close-knit team.

You will be required to work with the Investor Relations Manager and Communications Manager in supporting the Head of Investor Relations and Communications in the management and delivery of all Investor Relations and Communications activity for this well regarded household name.

The role:

  • Distribution of daily media monitoring reports
  • Analysis of themes and trends in the company's media coverage
  • Support for 'escalated' PR issues, including projects with a significant public interest or with the potential to impact Taylor Wimpey's brand
  • Collate and write articles for, review, edit and distribute weekly internal e-newsletter
  • Collate and write articles for the half-yearly internal employee magazine
  • Provide support and liaise with other departments regarding internal communications
  • Maintenance of Investor Relations contact management system
  • Logistical and event management support for shareholder / investor meetings
  • Providing logistical and on the day support for key events including Full Year Results, Half Year Results and analyst visits
  • Provide support to the team during the reporting process, including liaising with external suppliers
  • Provide support in collating information and case studies for annual reports and analyst presentations
  • Provide support for internal and external communication around the company's sustainability, community engagement and charity programmes
  • Undertaking timely reviews and updates of the relevant sections
  • Analysis and reporting on webpage usage (e.g. through the use of Google Analytics)
  • Identification of potential improvements to the sections
  • Liaison with external suppliers
  • Undertaking timely reviews and updates of the brochures
  • Undertaking timely reviews and updates of the relevant sections
  • Collating content for corporate social media channels like Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Assisting with management of corporate social media channels
  • Monitoring of relevant social media platforms

Your profile:

The role:

  • Degree level or equivalent education
  • Strong English language skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Previous communications or investor relations experience would be advantageous
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.
