The Canterbury district has ambitious plans for its future. Incorporating a city recently named the "most vibrant" in England with its blend of ancient heritage, modern iconic buildings and four universities, two coastal towns and lovely rural villages, we are embarking on a journey to provide greater opportunities for people to live, work, thrive and prosper in our district.

Sitting at the heart of this drive, the council itself is transforming the way that we work in order to continue to deliver quality services in a challenging financial climate.

They will lead an experienced and talented integrated marketing and communications team providing services to our broad range of internal business partners and external clients.   They will also be responsible for engaging and informing staff across multiple sites through a varied programme of internal communications.
