Our client is looking for a Superior Account Executive who will increase revenue through building & managing regional and country accounts, driving the account relationship through understanding the client’s objectives, developing and working within the team strategy for international growth, for this major exhibition company working across a large diverse portfolio of exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • To increase revenue from each customer and drive stand space and non space sales including marketing services and sponsorship
  • To continually build on the knowledge of the client organisation and understanding of their market & strategy, both at HQ and local level, and maintaining high visibility & impact with the client
  • To ensure an excellent understanding of the client’s needs for promoting the businesses in their country/association
  • Ensuring consistent quality of services with every client interaction and ensure overall client satisfaction
  • Developing people relationships at the client and ensuring our client is always front of mind
  • Building competitive knowledge and sharing best practice across the account Ensuing knowledge of the account is passed onto your team

    Primary Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required

  • Building and driving revenue from a sales pipeline is essential
  • Ability modify your style to suit different types of customers and individuals
  • Knowledge and understanding of large scale events is not absolutely essential but candidates with this knowledge are likely to be favoured
  • Knowledge of international associations, foreign government or public sector is desirable but not essential
  • Fluent language skills are highly desirable but not essential
  • Ability to grow accounts by selling realistic services that we can over deliver on
  • Strong organisational and project management skills to keep track of and develop leads
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel for proposal writing and budgeting.
  • Proven track record in key account management, ideally from an events, marketing or service
  • Experience of self-sourcing leads and driving revenue from both these leads and referrals
  • Experience of working closely with senior managers on driving commercial revenue
  • Experience of managing across an international and diverse cultural business
  • A strong commercial outlook
