A rare opportunity for experienced agency Client Director, to take the reins in the setting up of a satellite office ( based in Manchester), thanks to the success of the existing South East agency.

THE COMPANY
This is an independent brand strategy and activation agency with a passion for bringing brands to life.
They have been working with challenger and iconic brands for over ten years now, helping to formulate their brand strategy, create new identities and deliver inspired marketing campaigns.

THE ROLE
As the MD for the satellite offices, you will be tasked with...well pretty much everything!
You will manage the existing NW based clients (currently retail and FMCG brands), using creative resource down in the London office, as well as developing existing leads and seeking out new ones..
Initially based in a serviced office space in Manchester city centre, for creative companies, your motivation will be to develop a satellite office that proves to be as successful and well regarded as the HQ in London. You will grow the business, the number of employees (initially it really will be just you) and your reputation as an Agency MD.

YOU
For my Client to consider applicants for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate:

- Fire in your belly - many dream of setting up their own agency but it can be cost prohibitive; this is an opportunity that helps you on your way, so you need to be able to demonstrate just how much you want to lead an emerging agency.
- Integrated communication skill sets ideally within FMCG and/or the retail environment. These are the typical sortsof clients the agency currently services so it makes sense that the MD has knowledge of servicing such sectors.
- Commercial acumen - you will need to be able to clearly demonstrate how in your agency career to date, you have achieved outstanding results for the client whilst also delivering profits for the agency.
- Down to earth approach - whilst you may be keen to tart your own agency, you may be used to working only in a large, well staffed and resourced agency environment. This role will see you doing everything at least in the short term - you need to be willing to do this!
- Business Development - the MD will be responsible for growing the business, so needs a proven track record in successful, long standing and relevant Business development.
