Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager, £40-50k plus bonus ote £55k -£65k year one.
Launched in 1995 this became the 'must read' publication for senior decision makers in housebuilding/property. It’s mix of news, views and interviews along with comment and analysis from industry experts and respected writers.
The scope of the role is to identify, research and create new business revenue streams to enhance the profitability of the brand. The role will encompass, but not be limited to - round table debate sponsorships, conference style event organisation and monetisation, online revenue generation for the branded website, generating sponsorship revenue for the annual Awards ceremony etc.
The individual will need to be adept in learning the scope and opportunity that our trade facing media brands can deliver to an audience of housebuilders and the product and service providers who are integral in the construction and marketing of brand new homes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for their own P&L which will be based upon revenue targets, timescales and likely profitability with their line Director. As a result we seek someone who likes the challenge of earning a base salary and healthy bonuses based upon successfully achieving and exceeding budgets.
In essence we are looking for an 'all rounder'. Someone who is happy to create something from scratch, see the bigger picture, not afraid to get out and win new business, work with internal and external teams and be driven to see that the objective has been successfully and profitably delivered - and not be daunted by working on more than one project at once.
