The Comms Manager’s role is to support the Comms Director with the overall delivery of planning output for the client and to continuously strive to improve client relationship.
As Comms Manager, you would be the point person for day-to-day client contact. You will manage the work output to ensure that we deliver against clients’ objectives and expectations.
You will lead some projects with the support of the BD, AD and/or Strategist which will give you the autonomy to run certain campaigns totally, ideal for career progression.
You should have a thorough understanding of comms planning, and developed strategic planning capabilities. Implementational knowledge across all media channels is also very important.
You will need to develop an in depth understanding of all parts of the business along with strong strategic communications planning skills in order deliver innovative and effective strategies through compelling stories / approaches, and work as part of an integrated team, working closely with the HUB and the offices in London.
Day to day jobs include working with the client and cross agency team to develop a brief and define a response (including stimulus gathering and idea generation), quality control of our output, encouraging media innovation, ensure there is always a clear line of sight between strategy and delivery, co-ordinating and supporting campaign tracking and PCAs, contact reporting and managing finance.
