Sponsorship Sales Executive
Currently recruiting for a Sponsorship Sales Executive for a bespoke events division of a national Media owner.
Approaching its third year, this Bespoke events division is growing and scaling bespoke portfolio as well as new launches. You will be responsible for selling across these events working closely with the Commercial Manager to maximise revenues.
The new Sponsorship Executive will be responsible for building on existing client relationships as well as driving new business across a variety of sectors. Our client creates "beyond the rope" experiences for the audience, giving them the opportunity to hear from as well as meet high profile personalities.
As well selling topic specific sponsorship into our celebrity events you will also be selling into the fast growing Food & Drink portfolio. Due to the quality of the events and the high level of customer satisfaction achieved, you will also need to ensure the same level of care and attention is reflected in all client relationships and account management.
We are looking for an ambitious sales person with the ability to sell into existing events and launch events. The Bespoke events team is an exciting part of the business to be working within, offering lots of opportunity to grow and achieve.
Standard sponsorship opportunities range from £15k - £45k and bespoke packages can be upwards of £80k.
This position would suit with 12 - 18 months sales experience, with an events background.
Selling bespoke sponsorship packages to relevant consumer brands
Meeting face-to-face with key decisions makers
Leading high-level pitches to existing and new clients · Guiding and advising clients through the opportunity and process
Account Management and activation of sponsorship campaigns
Working closely with the Commercial Manage to ensure that all aspects of sponsorship are met and fulfilled
Building and maintaining long successful relationships with clients
Efficiently planning your time against weekly/monthly targets and be able to clearly present results back to the Commercial Manager
Ensure that business conduct reflects an enthusiastic and efficient image of the department and the brand
Exploring new opportunities where relevant with the brands to create enhanced experiences at the events
Develop in-depth knowledge of specific consumer sectors to help drive new business where relevant
A good level of experience of selling within the events industry
Excellent written, oral and communication skills
Solid sales mythology that is both consultative and solution orientated
Working within a national media organisation would be helpful, however not essential
Superb negotiation skills and thriving in a deadline-driven environment
