£35-45k plus commission

One of the internet's fastest growing media/tech start-ups attracting close to 10m users and 3m social media followers is seeking an experienced branded-content sales person to join their dynamic team.

Seeking an experienced Account Strategist to work in the UK team. You will work alongside the sales team to evolve overall commercial strategy as well as working on client and agency RFPs to secure, retain, and grow business. Content marketing experience is a big advantage as is a thorough understanding of social distribution. Equally important is enthusiasm, a positive attitude, the capability to collaborate within a multi-functional structure and adapt to a busy, frequently changing start-up environment.

The Role

Responsible for managing and executing the seamless activation of commercial content campaigns alongside the creative, sales and production teams. This role will also support the editorial teams with their video strategy. The successful candidate will be equal parts analytical and creative; proactive with a meticulous attention to detail. You will be passionate about digital media with an understanding of how content translates across all touch points for the best possible audience satisfaction. You will have proven experience having worked across many cross-platform branded campaigns with a natural ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.

Drive, develop and manage the content activation strategies culminating in increased engagement and brand awareness for branded content campaigns.

Support all client objectives through ingrained insights, to boost organic and paid traffic across all social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and more.

Present strategies clearly and effectively for both clients and editorial teams.

Be a source of insights to inform and inspire content ideas.

Knowledge sharing and digital education across the business - ensuring that all stakeholders have access to insight and analytics to shape future content performance

Essential Skills & Requirements

    • Thorough understanding of online social metrics to interpret their impact on client campaigns
    • Knowledge of technical social implementation (including Power Editor, Twitter Ads Manager)
    • Knowledge of current and developing social media techniques to successfully plan campaigns across multiple platforms
    • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritise work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Thorough understanding of the digital media industry with a voracious appetite for digital innovation
    • Strong team player
    • Strong attention to detail and desire to excel at content creation and activation across platforms
