We're looking for a Junior Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor to help with the creation of our digital content and video comms solutions for a global financial services client. Based on-site in Canary Wharf, we're looking for someone who will effortlessly immerse themselves while using their post production expertise and people skills to jump straight into a vibrant and creative video production environment.

You'll be working closely with the Lead Video Producer, group-wide production resource and partner agencies in the execution of high quality video content. 

Experience of delivering digital video content, across a range of platforms, as well as a creative and innovative can-do approach to the work are a must. 

This role is client facing, and you'll work closely with both internal stakeholders and clients, as such a professional attitude and flexible working approach is essential.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting in the development of video projects and managing smaller video projects independently.
  • Applying a solid understanding of the production process for digital video creation across both live action and animation projects.
  • Working directly with the creative team both as part of a team and independently.
  • Creating assets for motion graphic projects alongside graphic designers.
  • Assisting in complicated post production workflows when dealing with higher end animations.
  • Organising and archiving video assets.
  • Responding to urgent requests for amends, encodes and delivery.
  • Ensuring that server, naming and archiving conventions and adhered to.

 What you'll need:

  • Typically 2+ years proven track record within a production agency or production company.
  • Ability to gain respect, trust and confidence of senior management, partners and clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro. Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Some small-scale shoot experience is desirable.
  • Good understanding of codecs and encoding for a wide variety of platforms.
  • Experience of sound and music editing is favourable.
  • Solid understanding of the strengths and limitations of various digital channels.
  • Interest in cutting-edge technologies / products and how these are deployed.
