Sports Generation is a dynamic fast growing sports business committed to providing high quality swimming coaching. About to move into super new offices based in Kingston, SW London, they are now looking to hire a commercially savvy Marketing Manager to help them achieve their growth. This role will suit a marketing executive or marketing manager with 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a UK fast-paced marketing role.
This is a bull’s eye opportunity for an experienced marketer with the drive and hunger to take Sports Generation into its next phase. You will be an outgoing, high-energy individual with a can-do approach to your job. Working with the Marketing Director you will enjoy a high level of autonomy and want to make a difference in an inspiring, fun and energetic company. As Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing marketing and new business development strategies to grow the customer base, improving customer retention and driving revenue and profitability.
Marketing strategy and planning: You will devise and execute marketing strategies using both traditional and digital marketing channels. You will immerse yourself into the target audience/consumer profiles to better shape insights to deliver a fully cohesive and integrated marketing strategy for the long term and regular tactical marketing activities to meet ambitious customer targets.
Email marketing: Email marketing programmes to drive website traffic, customer engagement and customer retention and to capture new customers.
CRM: Develop and maintain a customer relationship programme.
Digital: You will update the website with engaging content to maximise customer engagement ensuring the core brand messaging. Experience of Google Analytics, Google Adwords, content management systems, web analytics, SEO. and CRM platforms is essential
Social media: A digital Native, you will be responsible for creating a social strategy for the brand across all social platforms.
Print – Involvement with developing a busy schedule of press ads, marketing material, door drops and POS.
Events – regular events to drive awareness, sign up new customers and collect data.
Measurement and reporting: Analysing the ongoing effectiveness of all marketing campaigns to feedback into test and learn findings.
Budgeting: You will effectively plan and forecast marketing expenditure along with the senior management team
First class English Skills written and oral is essential
