An internationally-renowned company with a big presence in the fashion and fragrance sectors, this business sells popular brands through various retail partners. The primary role of the eCommerce Channel Manager is to lead, plan and execute the overarching digital strategy by liaising with these retailers. The overall aim is to optimise the appearance of each brand online and ensure the greatest return on investment through these channels.

What you’ll be doing

With support from the Commercial Director, your remit will involve defining and delivering the overall UK and corporate digital strategy. You will communicate and work effectively with the wider digital team to co-ordinate activities and investment across the group, and have the responsibility for all reporting requirements.

You will take the lead in conducting regular audits of retail partners to ensure their activities are aligned with agreements and brand guidelines, as well as assessing their online capabilities. In addition, the analysis of competitor activity will be carried out under your guidance as well as the management of requests from independent retailers.

Day-to-day, you will evaluate the content needs and availability across the partner sites, working with internal and external contacts to ensure this is delivered in line with the strategic plan.

Whilst analysing the return on investment of company activities across the digital realm, you will continually update your own knowledge in line with the ever-changing digital landscape and be responsible for educating the wider team on these changes.

What experience you’ll need to apply
  • Strong strategic eCommerce background.
  • Experience using an internal reporting system.
  • Excellent reporting skills.
  • Good Excel skills. 
  • Strong web analytics skills – Google Analytics preferable.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Management experience. 
  • Ability to use your own initiative.
  • Pro-active attitude and commercially aware.
What you’ll get in return for your experience

A salary of up to £55k is on offer, plus a discretionary bonus. You will also receive 25 days holiday and will join the company pension scheme following completion of the probation period.
