Mindshare business planning and invention director Andrew Quin is to leave the agency to become senior planner at Euro RSCG. He will work across Euro RSCG London clients including car marque Peugeot. (Campaign)

Paul Edwards, the former chairman of Lowe UK, has been appointed as the European chief executive at Hall & Partners, the Omnicom-owned global advertising research company. Hall & Partners' former European chief executive Deborah Mills stepped down in October 2009. The role had been overseen on an interim basis by the global chief executive, Vanella Jackson. (Campaign)

HSBC has appointed former Marks & Spencer marketer Sarah Threadgould as its head of UK marketing. Threadgould, who joins this week, will report to marketing director Philip Mehl. (Marketing)

Travelex Global Business Payments, the global foreign exchange specialist, has named Andrew Wiseman as its head of global products and marketing, effective immediately. Wiseman will report to global managing director David Sear. (Marketing)

Travelodge has appointed Wickes marketer Emma Williams as its new marketing director. Williams is taking over a role that has been vacant for nearly two years. (Marketing)  

Standard Life has promoted Bruce Kelsall to the role of group marketing director, following the decision of top marketer Simon Gulliford to step down. Gulliford, previously group marketing and communications director at Standard Life, will remain with the financial services brand as a consultant to the Standard Life executive team. (Marketing)

Media  

 

Telegraph Media Group has hired Melanie Danks, the sales director of The Independent and The Evening Standard, in the new role of client director. There is no confirmed start date for Danks, who will report to executive director Dave King. (Media Week)

Telegraph Media Group is set to part company with its senior digital executive Alison Reay, after three years. Reay, a high-profile figure in the media industry, is believed to have left with no job to go to. (Media Week)

Initiative has appointed Chris Rayner, the managing director of its Ireland office, to the newly created role of director of global accounts. Rayner will report to Mauricio Sabogal, worldwide managing director of Initiative. (Media Week)

Facebook has poached Microsoft's vice-president of ad sales, Carolyn Everson, handing her the role of vice-president of global sales. The global ad sales post was previously occupied by Mike Murphy, who departed Facebook in October last year. (Media Week)
