Everything Everywhere's Stuart Jackson takes on wider business role
Everything Everywhere's Stuart Jackson is leaving his comms post to take on more strategic business-focussed role in the group.
Jackson will become director, CEO office, which will see him work with UK CEO Olaf Swantee, supporting the day-to-day running of the business as well as Swantee’s personal and business comms.
In an internal email to staff Stephen Day, chief or brand & comms, said that three EE divisional comms heads – Mat Sears (PR & corporate comms), Lynne Arrowsmith (internal brand & comms) and Dan Perlet (corporate & financial affairs) – will assume Jackson’s responsibilities on an interim basis.
PRWeek understands that the mobile giant is likely to seek a permanent replacement of Jackson, looking at both internal and external candidates.
Day stated: ‘Stuart will report to Stephen Harris, our Chief of Staff, work closely with Olaf, and play a pivotal role in liaising with the many areas of our company and with external business partners on Olaf's behalf. It's a career-stretching, fabulous opportunity.
Jackson told staff: ‘Together we've delivered outstanding work that has had a positive and material impact on the business - never more so than over the last few months.’
Jackson has been at Orange (which merged with T-Mobile to form Everything Everywhere) for over a decade and headed UK comms for five years.
