LONDON (Brand Republic) - Ogilvy & Mather has won the San Miguel beer account in Hong Kong and southern China after a tough four-way pitch. O&M is charged with re-invigorating the brand and extending its market presence.
Others involved in the pitch were Euro RSCG, Publicis Adlink and the incumbent J Walter Thompson, which had handled the account for the past eight years in Hong Kong.
WPP Group-owned O&M has created a multimedia campaign based on consumer research it carried out among drinkers in karaoke bars, pubs and on the streets of Hong Kong.
