- Granada Media Commercial Enterprises has announced a re-design the official ITV-F1 website in the run up to Sunday's Formula 1 British Grand Prix race.
The re-vamped site, located at www.ITV-F1.com, now carries an array of enhanced features, which include an F1 Superstore, a multimedia content area and a loyalty club in addition to the regularly updated coverage of the latest developments in Formula 1.
Caroline Hughes, commercial controller, at Granada Media, said: "Development of ITV-F1.com is key to maintaining loyalty with its 350,000 users. The site has its own identity, echoing the action of the TV broadcast and insight of the magazine, but fulfilling a very different media need of our viewers."
A new content area, Sound & Vision has been created to house the site's multimedia content. This area features footage not seen before on television and behind the scenes action from the teams as well as interviews with top drivers.
Advertisers supporting the new site include Agfa Cameras, Alfa Romeo, Apple, Audi, Autobytel, Books On Line, BMW, BT, Excite, Ford, Foster's, Gillette, Guinness, IBM, Intel, Psygnosis, Mazda, Microsoft, Tesco
The ITV-F1 website is designed and maintained by Eidos Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eidos.
