Cripps leaves Craik Jones

Marketing Direct, Friday, 21 July 2006 12:00AM

Mark Cripps, head of digital at Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel, has left after just a year at the agency to run MRM Worldwide's online work for Intel in Hong Kong.

Cripps, who is understood to be making the move for family reasons, was ranked second in the digital direct marketers' section of Marketing Direct's Power 100. In his role as Intel client leader in Asia Pacific, Cripps will report to Wing Pepper, MRM Worldwide Regional Director, Asia Pacific.

Alastair Duncan, chief executive of MRM Worldwide UK, said: "Mark has the understanding of how the customer is consuming digital media and inter-acting with brands digitally."

As Marketing Direct went to press, no successor had been appointed by Craik Jones. A decision is expected mid-July.
