Last week, Mars withdrew its latest ad for Snickers, starring Mr T.

The company had received complaints that the ad was homophobic, because the A-Team legend was bullying a speedwalker, for not "running like a man".

The decision has caused puzzlement among industry professionals (Mars withdraws 'homophobic' Snickers ad after complaints)

But what do members of the public think about the ad and the decision to shelve it? Watch the video above to find out.

I get the ad.

The withdrawal... well, what can you say, some people are just uptight no matter what you do.

Still, I have to say honestly that I much prefer the football/soccer "fake injury" ad better. That still makes me laugh every time I see it.

The agency should quickly make a better one to replace this... or just run the tank.

Now quit this jibber jabber... lol.

Excellent responsible advertising. It suggests that you shouldn't be walking fast whilst on speed, which i totally agree with. The same way one should not perform cocaine swimming or smack induced darts. Too right Mr T, too right.
