Hardisty, a former global creative director of Naked Communications, moves to Mother as a lead strategist, where he will work with the strategy directors Dylan Williams and Matt Andrews.

In his new role, Hardisty will be responsible for broadening Mother’s strategic offering, working across the agency’s full range of clients.

Ling is not thought to have a job to go to. Before joining AnalogFolk, he was the strategy director at i-level.

AnalogFolk will no longer offer media planning, instead focusing its efforts on digital creative, mobile and events.

The agency has appointed Kevin Sutherland, the former technical director of R/GA, as its new director of creative technology and innovation.

It is also understood to be close to agreeing a deal to sign a new interactive creative director, with an appointment set to be made within the next month.

Hardisty and Ling are the third and fourth founding partners to leave in the 17 months since AnalogFolk launched. In June last year, Leo Moore departed to join McCann Erickson Ireland and, in January, Deirdre McGlashan left for Isobar in Greater China.

The agency continues to be run by the founding partners Bill Brock and Matt Dyke.
