Dave Waller

Web reporter

Freelance journalist Dave Waller spent four years full-time on the MT staff, editing the Brainfood section and writing features for the magazine, as well as covering online news analysis. Then he left suddenly in 2009, gripped by a fervent burst of drive and career opportunism - and drove a Fiat Punto to Mongolia, for a laugh.

He can now be found working part-time on the MT website, while sampling irregular slices of working life for the magazine’s Sharp End column – his career highlight being a session of nude modelling at Plymouth Art College. Elsewhere you can find him flexing his mental muscle on London’s nascent improv comedy circuit. Sounds awful, but it’s not. It’s actually good. Check it out.
