COI warns of continued drop in spend as staff cull looms

In a letter to agencies following this week's announcement that COI is to axe 40 per cent of its staff, Peter Buchanan, the deputy chief executive, said any exemptions to reductions in adspend will have to be cleared by the Cabinet Office's Efficiency and Reform Group.
