Waitrose to launch lower-cost products

LONDON - Waitrose is entering the supermarket price war with the launch of a lower-priced, everyday food range. Essentials, which will go into stores next Monday (9 March), will be competitively priced, but not as cheap as other supermarket economy ranges.
