BBC plans to cut output and refocus on quality

LONDON - The BBC's strategic review has confirmed it plans to close the alternative music station Radio 6 Music, the teenage focused strands Blast! and BBC Switch, and the national Asian Network as part of a pledge to save £100m a year in overheads.
