The BBC is to launch a major marketing campaign in the run-up to
the launch of its eight digital TV and radio services next year, themed
'Everyone's BBC: Connecting with out audiences'. Director of marketing
Andy Duncan says it is a great opportunity to simplify confusion
surrounding digital TV.

The BBC has sacked Jeff Taylor, BBC Worldwide's director of global
marketing and brand development, who was arrested in Hong Kong in
October in connection with fraud allegations. He has been dismissed "on
grounds of breaching the company's employment policy on conflict of
interests".

BBC WORLD: Caroline Howie, editor of BBC World, will oversee the
BBC Four News, which launches in March 2002. The new digital channel's
