TELECOMS: One.Tel, the telecoms firm owned by British Gas and AA
parent company Centrica, has compiled a shortlist of five firms for its
consumer PR pitch. Communications manager Lucy Hotston confirmed
incumbent Harvard PR was on the list and a decision is expected in the
new year.

INTERNAL COMMS: Powergen has promoted internal communications
manager Chris Whelan to the role of head of internal communications. She
replaces Christina Davis, who left the utility company in June to join
the Marsh consultancy. Whelan reports to director of corporate affairs
