Pepsico 'i can' by CLM BBDO and BBDO New York

 

CLM BBDO has created an ad for Pepsi that aims to encourage young people to make their own dreams come true.

The campaign launches with two commercial films that bring to life the idea of independence and youthful spirit.

VIDEO 1: Penguin. Created by BBDO New York. 

VIDEO 2: The Rising.  Created by CLM BBDO and directed by Daniel Kleinman.

The campaign will debut in Europe, before being rolled out to other regions worldwide.

Loving the Gulliver world created in the first ad. However, i am very dubious about Pepsi's bastardisation of Obama's rousing, semi-socialist battle cry 'We Can' to the Reaganite-sounding 'I can'.

Leaves a nasty taste in the mouth, that.
