Euro RSCG London has created a TV campaign with an olympic theme as EDF energy prepare to launch Green Britain Day on July 10th to raise awareness of how the 2012 London Olympics can effect climate change.
Showing a film reel from London in 1948, Euro RSCG invoke a poignant message of how even at war, Britain can rally together for the greater good.
A big 85% French government owned Nuclear energy company claims ownership of Green Britain, [even though a small British renewable energy company has been using it and the Green Union Jack since 2007] and, for good measure, adds insult to injury by invoking WWII. If I were French + Nuclear I wouldn't go near Green, British or WWII...
French Nickers!!!!
The Green Union Jack has been the icon of Ecotricity, the world's pioneering green energy company set up by Dale Vince, with a zero-carbon vision and a mission to deliver it, since January 2007 - my husband Robin Smith created it and and his company Host Universal, has been working tirelessly on Ecotricity's Green Britain Day.
This French nuclear energy company is attempting to pull the wool over our eyes and the rug from under ethical business with their Union Jacques. They are bringing nuclear under the Green umbrella and when that happens it will be catastrophic for the authentic change-movement. This is the most outrageous greenwash to date.
It's interesting that the media director of Electricite de France is Andrew Brown, Gordon's brother! Blood is thicker than polictics it seems!
