The first spot, 'whack', sees a man engaging with the televised action by reacting physically and whacking whomever is sitting next to him.
However, the tables are turned as he sits trussed up in bandages, watching his own truTV experience on screen.
The second spot 'yelling' shows a man shouting at his TV and in so doing apparently reprimanding his neighbours who think they’ve been caught indulging in their guilty secrets.
The work was directed by Baker Smith.
Mother New York has created two new TV spots for US TV channel truTV, which document the over-the top reactions of people who view the action-packed truTV programming.
