IBM 'IBM' seer app' by Ogilvy One

5.0 1 Votes

IBM has launched a mobile app for Wimbledon which gives visitors to the tournament live location-based video streams of showcourt matches as well as other areas at Wimbledon such as the Aorangi Terrace (or Henman Hill).

The app builds on the IBM Seer launched in 2009, an augmented reality app using live data feeds. The Wimbeldon ad streams live video from on and off the court based on the user‚s location.

Available for both iPhone and Android, the free app offers live geo-tagged information on queue lengths, food and drink stands and other Wimbledon facilities. The Seer applications for Android and iPhone handsets are available by downloading directly from either the iTunes App Store or Android Market.
