2AM, the production company, and director Matthew Donaldson have created 'two minute silence', a 'music' video for this years' Poppy Appeal.

The aim of the campaign is to get the video to number 1 in the charts on Remembrance Sunday.

If it does,  Radio 1 would have to play two minutes of silence on the radio, something which has never been done before.

There is a Facebook page dedicated to the campaing hosted by the British Legion at  http://www.facebook.com/poppysingle2010?ref=mf

The campaing was devised by Joe Sinclair creative director at Burson-Marsteller UK.

The video features ex service men who are helped by the British Legion alongside music stars Thom Yorke, Plan B and Mark Ronson.
