Renault 'va va voom' by Publicis London

3.2 26 Votes

Renault has revived the "Va va voom" positioning for its Clio model in a stylish new ad created by Publicis London.

The spot, which begins by asking the question "What is Va Va Voom?", depicts some iconic Hollywood movie moments featuring film stars such as Marlon Brando and Audrey Hepburn, as well as showing Dita Von Teese performing a strip tease.

French footballer Thierry Henry, who appeared in a number of Clio ads from 2002, also makes a cameo appearance.

Music extracts that appear in the ad include David Bowie’s 'Space Oddity' and Rihanna's 'S&M' single.

Renault last ran a campaign using the "Va Va Voom" strapline in 2006.

The ad was written by Lauren Bensted, art directed by Poppy Willcox and directed by Dark Fibre through Stink.
