Quaker Oats 'Windy Miller', by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO

Windy Miller, the character from the TV series 'Camberwick Green', is making a return to the small screen in two 30-second ads for Quaker Oats and Oatso Simple. The spots highlight how oats lower cholesterol and slowly release energy throughout the day. As in the programme, Windy doesn't speak but nods answers to questions asked by a voiceover. In one ad he is asked if his bowl of porridge is: "Just enough for a morning's work". He shakes his head and looks across to a red sports car that pulls up, driven by Millie, the pub barmaid. He jumps in to be told: "You old rascal Windy Miller."
