The Army is looking to recruit more officer applicants with a television campaign comprising two ads, "peace maker" and "rescue mission". The ads feature real officers, and aim to make people reassess the qualities it takes to become an officer in the British Army. In "rescue mission" a woman is playing football in a park with some friends. The ball is kicked over a fence into a works yard and, using experience from her army life, the woman is able to decide that it is too dangerous to retrieve the ball The voiceover says: "Judgment is one of the many qualities needed for a career as an army officer."
