A chair is trapped in a doomed love affair, in this new spot for Ikea France from CLM BBDO in Paris, to bring to life the proposition that Ikea equals low prices and quality. In the ad, the Ikea chair is trapped in an impossible love affair with a low price ticket, in a society that will not accept "mixed relationships" between stylish furniture at reasonable prices. The chair and the low price ticket seem destined to spend their lives apart. But the story has a happy ending on seeing an Ikea poster, and the chair and low price run away together to appear in Ikea's 2006 catalogue.
