NSPCC Saatchi & Saatchi

The latest in the NSPCC's "full stop" campaign is an eerie, disturbing spot that is extremely effective in getting the message across. Directed by Danny Kleinman it features an eight-year-old girl as a puppet being controlled by a ventriloquist, who is also her abuser. She sits powerless on his lap in the classroom, unable to respond when the teacher asks her a question. When another child comes up to her in the playground and asks her if she wants to go and play with her, the little girl's mouth moves, but it is the man's voice that says: "No." Media planning and buying is through ZenithOptimedia.
