Claire Billings chooses Leo Burnett's latest outting for Daz voiced by Cold Feet's John Thompson. Straight out of a picture story in a tabloid agony aunt column comes the new Daz soap powder spot in which a woman finds out who her partner is cheating only when she detects a tell tale wiff of Daz in her neighbour's house. The ads tap into the nation's obsession with soap operas emulating Channel 4's axed show Brookside, which has resurfaced as Cleaner Close for the purpose of the ads. Burnetts has created an entertaining campaign for the P&G brand, that will stick in the minds of UK consumers.
